It's been a while since I last did another one of these! One of my goals was to draw at least one Pokémon from each generation. I hadn't done any gen 3 ones, so I looked at which ones in the Footdex directory hadn't been claimed, and Relicanth the coelacanth-inspired fish was one of them. The inspiration for this is bizarre... former Dead Kennedys singer Jello Biafra would often mockingly describe Joe Biden as "the great and powerful coelacanth," so I decided to make a great and powerful Relicanth. This sea beast Relicanth is so great and powerful, a legendary Pokémon like Lugia is a tiny ant in comparison. Maybe I should have put a Wailord trapped in-between sea beast Relicanth's toes instead, since Wailord is the largest Pokémon (47 feet according to the Pokédex). >< Oh well. Lugia is more expressive than a whale anyway.
