Desteni seems to have missed the calls to evacuate the ship, suddenly awoken by the cold deluge of rushing seawater flowing into her cabin. She managed to fight against the floods to get her door open, but before she could squeeze through completely, the waters forced it back shut, slamming down on her poor tail.

She pounded and kicked at the door, slamming desperately against the frame in an attempt to free herself. As the waters rose, however, her efforts became slowed and waterlogged. She couldn't generate enough force to pry it open, and tugging at her tail wasn't working either.

Desteni was doomed. She called out for help, but it was no use. All alone in the flooded corridor, she could only stand their helplessly, watching the surface creep up her chest and over her shoulders...

In mere moments, Desteni was submerged completely. All the writhing and struggling had winded her, and the icy chill of the seawater drained what little energy she had left. Her body tensed. Her diaphragm strained. Without thinking, she instinctively opened her mouth to inhale, only to choke and suck down gulps of freezing water. She gagged and thrashed, but soon, the ocean would take her completely...
