I didn't see Unio that way, but there are other ungulate anthros in the world that have the same hooves for hands like Unio and I considered him to be something completely different from the rest of the anthros. Since you considered him to be the same as everyone else it kinda tracks.

I just assume that the Unio's horn would just turn her into a unicorn similar to him. Would make for an interesting episode on how she needs to learn how to use her new "hands" like Unio if that happened.
