When Rainboom was older, she and Apple Heart would write to each other. But one of those days, Rainboom was caught.

Rainbow Dash: "Hey, Rainboom. Who ya writing to?"
Rainboom: "Um,"
*Rainbow Dash read part of the letter.*
Rainbow Dash: "Apple Heart! Rainboom, you know I don't trust her mom. Not after what she did a few years back."
Rainboom: "But mom!"
Rainbow Dash: "No more, Rainboom! No more letters to any Apples."
*Rainboom run off crying*
