The transformation was nearly complete as the neural collar hummed against his fur, the fiery defiance that once defined Rocket Raccoon was being systematically dismantled. In it's place grew a hollow, desperate obedience that stripped the galactic hero of his dignity, leaving him as little more than a needy puppy for his captor's own primal needs.

Having moved through the lower decks, Rocket was finally brought to the bridge for an audience with the captain himself.

Stryker roared, snapping his attention toward the viewscreen. "Are we under attack?"
