Sometimes you explore an abandoned place and see the same familiar walls and rooms, same colors and styles everyone used back then, same signs of damage and decay. But sometimes, despite that sameness, the place you explore is more unique than you. Then your perception of yourself disappears for a moment, and the place starts exploring you, spreading its ancient roots across your brain, refusing to leave for the rest of your life.
And that's okay. <3
Fun fact: this started out as an almost exact reproduction of a photo I found of this sorta ivy-shaded walkway (because I thought it would be fun to make). I had no real direction - struggled in fact - to find it for some time. But as it went on, it drifted away from the reference and became self-inspiring - something to build upon without any external sources.
Enjoy! :D
P.S. The teacups were already there, full of rainwater and fallen leaves. Being a plant-based infusion in water, this technically counts as tea.
