idk man, sometimes I feel like these rules bend so arbitrarily. I got one of my Polly Plantar drawings deleted for being “human only” when the character is pretty obviously a frog and already has many other fanarts (even more human-like) uploaded here.

Might depend on the style of art or staff responsible for the takedown? Their guidance specifically points out things that could easily be mistaken for just a human, and even says certain east-Asian inspired art styles may be verboten. A frog character could lack a lot of animal detail, so if the art style was just "wrong" enough or the piece wasn't in color it might've ran afoul.

Verbatim, it does not say human body, animal head counts. It says human head, animal ears/tail/whiskers counts.
This character "draws the line" - they have a humanoid body, but more than "a few glued on animal features." By % of animal features that take up their portion of the image, I'd say it's at least 1/3. That's considerable.

I even tried emailing the staff to see why it was deleted for that reason when the character isn't human, and till this day I haven’t received a response yet.

Maybe someone can explain why this doesn't count under the young human/humanoid rules? "The Purge forum post":https://e621.net/forum_topics/45501 says young humanoid is verboten, and "humanoid":https://e621.net/wiki_pages/5284 says that animal-head-human-body counts. But now that I look, there are hundreds of posts of this character that are allowed. So where is the line?
