Her mirror universe counterpart seems to insinuate that this is her "default" design and not her "good" design. With that said maybe Duchess Chrysalis has an evil form.

`Does this mean that her design in the mirror dimension is no longer canon?`
Mirror Chrysalis from "Reflections" is not canon because this story arc comes in conflict with the timing of certain events. In the comic, after the defeat and banishment of Nightmare Moon, Princess Celestia and Star Swirl the Bearded discover a magical mirror that can act as a gateway between worlds and begin exploring the multiverse. However, the reveal in the Season 7 finale two-parter "Shadow Play" that the Elements of Harmony only grew from a magical seed after Star Swirl's disappearance alongside the other Pillars of Old Equestria conflicts with this. Since Luna and Celestia wielded the Elements together in the past, and Celestia used them to banish Luna when she became or being possessed by Nightmare Moon, these events can only have happened after Star Swirl was no longer around. Characters and references to this story arc would later be featured in "Chaos Theory", "Tempest's Tale", "Nightmare Knights", and "Season 10", which are also non-canon.

Which one? The show version, the redeemed version, or the version of the mirror dimension?

I wish we had an episode based on that comic, it would be interesting to see how each character interacts with their alternate versions.

Ask Sombra.

Don't see why it wouldn't. Just means that Mirror Chrysalis now has an evil version.
