'Divine Assets'

*Note: Some spoilers exist for the end of the Legend of Ahya series and what will pertain to a future series involving Nina. So read at your own risk!*

I believe my cover artist, Ruolina, said it best:
If Murana could be considered Gen X, then Taylor is a millennial. Then that would put Nina squarely in the Gen Z+ category!

By the end of the book series, society is rebuilding and the nations are collaborating together at long last - sharing their technologies and each boasting its own industrial revolution as a benefit from this combined partnership. Although created earlier in the regions of Zabokar and Livarnu, social media had made its way down to the Talkar provinces. The younger generation gravitated towards it and many became addicted to the clout and attention it brought them.

Enter Nina Thumpings. Because of her unique position as princess of Talkar and her now divine heritage being widely known, she was the central focus for many interested parties. She was famous and rightfully so. However, she is blind to the dangers of what social media can provide. She leans into using her influence to gain the people's favor. Unfortunately, her chasing the trends of other prospecting young lads and ladies, she follows the wrong examples. It's a lesson that will come back around to haunt both her and her family's reputation within the empire.

In the moment though, she isn't thinking about any of that. She's more concerned with the likes and favorites she gets. It's like dopamine to her and it's fun. Safe in her ivory tower, she feels untouchable. What harm could showing a bit off do? Although, someone might have tipped off her family that she's up to no good online. Steven, having once used the mammal <-> reptile love finder app, had an old account he signed into and warned Nina that her actions would have consequences! Time will tell when and if those lessons will be learned and how.
