This is not canon. I just liked the idea and wanted to portray Nauvoo in a kind of torture. Because it would suit her. She lives in the forest, surrounded by wolves, and collects herbs... The village near which she lives could easily consider her a witch and burn her down. Fortunately, that's not really how it works in my lore, and there was no witch hunt.
