while taking some breaks from my SFW Projects, I was researching yokai in my free time, and going back to Diives’ Xingzuo Temple for Baozi. Specifically, I was looking up animal yokai like Kitsune, Tanuki, Hainu, Nekomata, and some others I never knew would exist like the Mujina Badger. Afterwards, I was rewatching some BNA (Brand New Animal) on Netflix, and wondered about making a sub-manga series..a Yonkoma if you would. A yonkoma about certain clans that were destined as guardians of an abandoned castle. And this Tanuki girl is one of the main characters. Say hello to Kinoko. Kinoko is one of the warrior-class members of the Tanuki clan who were co-founders of the said tower. With years of training and pranking under her belt, her doings would go unnoticed to the unsuspected. The first few images are my very first drawing of her from months ago, so expect to see more doodles of her.
