The party all watched in bewilderment as the Cobalt Serpent dematerialized, fading away into the ether. Despite the undeniable mark that the monster would leave on The Lands, it was a truly magnificent display. Chieftain Xander quite honestly never thought he would see the day the serpent would be felled, much less would he have been the one to slay it. He would certainly have one ripper of a story to tell his wife and daughter back home if anything. His mind went back to the past though. Even though it was a terrible, bloodthirsty beast that laid waste to anything around it, it wasn’t always that way. “Back to the sea you go. You can be at peace now.” While yes, the seas were no longer under the threat of the serpent, more importantly, Ivanne G’eelm could now rest in quiet slumber. And he was once again laid to rest right at home in the Cobalt Sea. Once their victory had set in and the storm had passed, the party could celebrate. Ithaca turned to Roseland and threw her a well-earned smile, “We did it guys! We really did it!”. The two shared a celebratory arm bump, with Roseland commending the party for their sublime teamwork under such a dire situation, “Hah! I couldn't think of a better way to showcase our strength than slaying a massive sea monster. Great work everyone.” The encounter with the serpent had easily been the toughest battle the trio ever fought, even with a temporary comrade at their side. All the while her friends celebrated and congratulated one another, Zenchi made eye contact with the moon, now properly viewable again after being stolen away by the thunderstorm. “*SIGH* It's over.” A massive wave of relief blew over her, letting her know that she could let her guard down.

Xander didn’t skip a single beat, however. Already with a well-deserved drink in hand, he thanked the trio for their unforgettable contributions to the cause, “For generations, the Cobalt Serpent has threatened the seas and my people. It's thanks to you three that the beast could finally be slain.” He, too, thanked them on a more personal note, for setting Ivanne’s soul free from its never-ending anguish and despair, “...and Ivanne's soul may now properly rest.” The heroic dragon turned to face the humble Chieftain, arms crossed and equally humble herself, not wishing to take much praise for simply doing what she thought was right, “I mean, we're just doing our jobs at the end of the day.” Such was her and her comrades’ self-proclaimed mission, to help those in need and thwart evils when most others couldn’t. Though by now, the party had spent more than long enough at sea. The four of them were covered in blood, bruised, and exhausted beyond belief. “What say we head back to G'eelm and celebrate there?” Zenchi’s enthusiasm to get back home was shared by Xander, who took heed of Wyona’s Hand and steered it back home, “Aye lass, yer on!” The party had come out victorious tonight, and grand celebrations were in order.
The Lands Trio arrive at G'eelm Outpost for the next part of their adventure. Supposedly, the Chieftain directly requested the Hero Of The Lands's support for an upcoming mission. What will it be? What challenges might they face? Join the party as they discover the truth of the deep blue sea and what lies just out of sight.
