Welp... an exploding power supply unit was not how we wanted to start 2026 but here we are :T

You know it's bad when smoke actually comes out of the PSU x.x
Fortunately I have a backup, but it will be some time before the main desktop gets repaired.

At least PSU's aren't skyrocketing in price like SSD's, RAM, etc.

Don't let magic smoke escape, it's what makes the machine run! At least it didn't go out with a bang. Capacitors can explode quite loudly if there's a short. I've seen one in a strong PSU dent the damn case, and consequently evacuate the shop-floor...
