Drawn in 1994. I wrote, penciled, inked, and colored (in colored pencil) an entire comic for my free-form art class in my junior year in high school! I was 17, I think?

I really loved the Film Noir stuff, and characters like Sam Spade. I loved the alliteration, so I rolled with "Scott Shadows" for my lead character! It sounded sufficiently film noir-y.

The comic ended up more Action Film than Film Noir, but hey, I had a blast making it! It was a sort of make-up-as-I-went story!

This turned my interest in foxes to up 11! When I found the fandom in 1996, and foxes were already popular, I remember feeling like, "YAY FOXES!!! 😁🎉🦊"

(I do remember some folks being up their own asses about "too many foxes in the fandom" early on. Bitch, I've loved foxes before I even knew about the fandom. 😤)
