The Smeargle found herself finally with some free time in the studio. Paint littered messy canvases, and she stood in front of the only blank stretch of white in the room. She had saved it for herself, as her mind drifted through creations the entire day. But one image stuck to her mind. A looming threat? A monster? She poured a generous amount of the mystic water around her neck, coating her tail's paint until it was wet. Then, she began scrawling the scene. Before long, the Typhlosion eclipsed by the moon had taken shape. A set of flames she recognized from passing knowledge... Looming over a night sky ready to take its next prey...
Yet... A shaking feeling instilled doubt in the Smeargle. She stood in front of her watercolors frozen in time. She couldn't help but pity her own drawing of the Typhlosion. "It was no monster, it hunted to live. It hunted to protect. It hunted... Out of love." She thought. Motionless, she seemed lost in the painting to onlookers who were packing up in the studio. She had added roses, sprawling against the night sky... But they simply framed her own contemplation, almost as if she was meant to be apart of the painting itself.
