Her species are big on fighting so it'd make sense over successive generations that size, strength, durability, and the ability to quickly recover from a fight would become ingrained traits.

You could, however, ask the artist for a higher resolution version of the panel(s) and post that. The post would likely be approved and thus usable. I think some artist I keep tabs on this that for something… maybe Feretta?
