Some more Final Fantasy art, the mother of monsters herself, Echidna! Kind of a combined design between her FFIII, FFXIV, and contemporary Greek designs! Had to have Dexter and Sinister there, too, after all! In the Ares Ranch continuity, she's the leader of the Legion of Chaos and pals around with her three buddies Ahriman, Cerberus, and the Two-Headed Dragon. Don't worry, she likes when you call her "Mommy".

One of the Four Fiends, Echidna is the Lord of Earth and Mother of Monsters. Not [i]every[/i] fiend is her direct offspring, but if you see a Big Deal Monster, like a Behemoth or that kinda thing, it can probably trace its lineage back to her. In addition to birthing armies of monsters, Echidna also acts as a direct enforcer for any Scion of Chaos that might spring into being – that's just her role in the natural order, and there are no hard feelings. Right now, it's only been a few hundred years since the last Scion of Chaos, so it'll be a [i]while[/i] before she needs to do anything particularly sinister. She thinks of it as a vacation, and an opportunity to have a bit of fun with the current Warriors of Light and Darkness.
