Drawn overnight in 4.5 hours (not a joke!)

When Revision returned for 2025, I was inspired by its nature theme to draw something within it. So I started drawing a deer man standing on a tree. But when I upscaled the figure to get more detail in, an entirely different idea came to mind that would inherently be more interesting to look at on account of being a dramatic action shot. Thus we have the Silvamancer, who has called upon an army of plants and vines to attack whoever it was that sinned against Gaia, a few weeks after I drew another furry mage.

Unlike last year's entry, I was at this point quite familiar with the limitations of the classic ANSI format and accomplished what I set out to do within them, as well as the compo's enforced width limit (80 characters) and color limit (no bright backgrounds). I also did all this in the space of four and a half hours overnight mere days before the party, as opposed to the three days it took to do last year's art.

In the end, I ended up repeating my 5th place finish from last year, but at the biggest demoparty in the world, 5th place is in the winners' circle. Plus, with 21 entries in the textmode competition compared to the previous year's 11, placing 5th is even more significant of an achievement... especially with something I drew so quickly!
