love the idea that the magic in the forest is contained to itself kinda like its own magical realm once you step in is much different than she is used to. kinda liek in fairy tails where things seem fine till you accidently fall into or are invited into a place that hidden outside of time/from the naked eye valed by some ancient magic/spell.

I don't know if this is hinting that the Natural World, which the Everfree Forest is a snippet of, is the most powerful thing in the world. Or if Twilight's academic training is unreliable compared to true life chaos.
Well one could argue it's hard to sense nature itself. Plus it looks like it's contained in some kind of barrier.
