Kalvera is a feral stone drake from a clan with a might-makes-right mentality. While intelligent and capable of speech, she's not particularly bright and doesn't usually have a lot to say.

The high testosterone of their species lends itself to producing very erectile clits, which the females typically use to mount each other and establish dominance among their peers. Their teats also tend to swell when they're in estrus or their clan-mates are due to give birth soon, in preparation for attracting mates and/or communally feeding their collective young.

Her kind of stone drakes are sometimes referred to as nanny drakes as they're fiercely protective of their lairs and those inside of them. They're easily seduced with a few gifts of meat and decent displays of dominance, don't mind sharing a male, and are content to stay in the lair while their mate travels, so they're common choices for secondary partners and nest protection among true dragon couples (assuming the primary female can tolerate sharing).

While smaller than true dragons, they're particularly strong and durable for their size, easily capable of dealing with most threats to their and their mate's young.
