This guy is super good at drawing action poses. I hope one day I can draw a running pose as good as this one. I don't even recall asking for a specific pose; this is just what the artist went with, and I am more than okay with that. Done before I decided to alter Melee's personality to be less... upbeat, we have a Melee who's ready for a new adventure! Adventure isn't really a thing modern Melee is eager to jump into, but he often finds himself either being forced into it or reluctantly jumping into adventure regardless.

I'd love to commission this guy again some day. My only regret with this drawing was that I never got to correct him on the snout design; I remember providing the artist with an old reference that featured an muzzle design I had stopped using and that wound up getting implemented into the drawing. That's not the artist's fault - I provided the old reference and never mentioned that he need not draw those lumps, so that's all on me. Other than that, it's definitely one of the more exciting drawings I've ever commissioned.
