Saoirse is a (mad) scientist at heart, so no wonder she was curious about her unusual, spotted coat. She's very upset to find out it where it came from.

And it came from an English male Border Collie way back in the family tree. She already had so many BC traits I decided to make it canon. Some of them are the spots, the small size, the high intelligence and great memory, THE STARE, the obsessiveness, the need to control and the constant need to work.

It also means she's getting a small redesign to make her spots look more like irl merle - until now they were random dark ones.

She was only supposed to be a filler NPC, and look where we are now. She has a personality and a background! I have mixed feelings about it.
