NOT MY ART!

Asides from GustlyWolf,  Buizilla was another artist that was in the artist alley at FC'24 and then got promoted to main dealer den at FC'25! Funny thing, GustlyWolf, CameronHops, and Buizilla's tables were all next to each other in the dealer den. Nice to see three artists I admire were all close to each other. Last year I got a copy of Bui's comic "Maxed Out." This year, Bui was open for digital bust commissions, and I decided to get one. I thought my red panda James would look good in Bui's pokémon anime style, and I was pleasantly surprised to receive this in my email! They also printed it out as a little sticker that reminded me of the Gameboy printer accessory. I really like how James came out, and I'm glad Bui included his cross of St James necklace!

As a side note, for several years I've contemplated giving James a Chinese name, but since I know zilch about the dialects of Chinese, I wasn't sure what sort of name to choose. FC had a Mandarin Chinese 101 panel this year that I attended out of curiosity, and I asked the panel host Au Fay for a suggestion. I got a suggestion I like, and I'll reveal it in a comic later down the line. All I'll say is, I wanted James to have a name that was too cutesy or embarrassing, so he only uses it with his family and never with friends like Peter the cat or anyone else.
