Sally Acorn joined the GeneX fanfic series in the runup to Sonic Forces. She ran a separate Freedom Fighter force from the Resistance, collaborating with them in hopes of defeating Infinite along with Eggman's new Roboticizer. In the final battle... she was killed by Infinite.
Sally was brought back by Ophiuchus, who brainwashed her to serve the Zodiac Council as Virgo. Sally gained the power to command males with her voice... (Man, I missed an opportunity for nsfw there...)

Once Ophiuchus was defeated, Sally returned to normal; heiress to her father's tech company, AcornCorp. What? Knothole and such didn't exist in GeneX. It made sense to give the Archie characters new origins.
