So I was somewhat interested to see how would it look if it was more MLP:ANG-styled. So here's the quick look at (what I believe is) a final battle version of Sunny. Her eye was damaged during her battles with Allura, and her skin was burned during her battles with the returned Opaline.

Fully shaped by the teachings of the ghosts of the previous M6 and Pillars of Old Equestria, the "Hero of Skyros" is right before she enters the final battle with Twilight. Where Twilight wants to bring back everyone who has died in the history of the MLP universe, but at the terrible cost of turning all ponies into ghosts, while Sunny doesn't want this to happen (she wants her heroine to accept the mortality of her subjects and friends).

And the end of this battle will lead to the ideal outcome for Equestria (the cancelled G6, i.e., the Ponyverse), where everyone will live in peace and harmony, no longer fearing death. This is exactly how I imagined the G5 finale. The end of the Friendship is Magic arc and the beginning of something new for MLP as a whole.
