This is a picture I drew for a [i]Slipstream[/i] game I ran. [i]Slipstream[/i] is a science fiction setting created by Paul Wiggy Wade-Williams based on the Flash Gordon and Buck Rogers adventure serials of the 1930s, using the [i]Savage Worlds[/i] roleplaying system. It's all rocketships and rayguns, with our heroes fighting to liberate a pocket universe called the Slipstream from the evil Queen Anathraxa. From left to right, they are: Nonda Loko, an Antelopos weird scientist, inventor of bizarre gadgets that work outside the laws of conventional science; Buck Savage, a two-fisted adventurer from 1930s Earth; Kator the Ape Boy, also from 1930s Earth; Captain Sphyna, a Shark Man space pirate; Sluggo, a Septosian street rat; Hella Freyasdottir, a Valkyria space warrior; Aiboh Cresi, a Felosian who describes herself as "the greatest thief in the Slipstream"; Nate Katt, a Felosian psionic; and Psyrus, an Earthling psionic. They are in the midst of a desperate battle on the planet Boroosh, home of the gopher-like Borooshians, assisting the efforts of their friend Prince Klendar to overthrow his father, King Prognosh, a servant of Anathraxa.
