It was about a year ago when a bunch of Pokémon just started talking way more. It did happen before - a particular meowth being quite famous. And sure some pokemon were adamant about certain changes, but it wasn't a lot. Honestly the Pokémon wanted things to stay the same as much as us trainers did.

Buffin was the first talking pokemon I trained. I originally only picked him up as an emergency sub after my sweeper got pneumonia. But we worked really well together, and lopunnies hit like a truck. We honestly became really close and now Buffin is basically my pokemon partner. All the photoshoots and such, it's with Buffin. Apparently we single handedly bumped the lopunny use rates in the minor leagues.

These last three weeks I have had a major problem. I've started looking at Buffin differently. It's hard for me to stay focused most days. I didn't really understand why, but I loved just watching Buffin move. He is in incredible shape, and I'd always been a bit of a muscle lover - but I never felt like this for a pokemon.
