Plus deathclaws in general aren't even the result of radiation, they're the result of pre-war military experiments.
While there can be some variation depending on the specific game, generally speaking the only Fallout enemies that actively irradiate you (not counting the Children of Atom, since they just use radiation-based weaponry) are the ones that literally glow in the dark, and most feral ghoul variants.
