What is this? Momster manual is my attempt to draw various mayternity inspired monsters every day during month of may, with small side part for bits of lore and maybe even rules on occasion. Monsters will be either individual charcters or representatives of a type of creature.

Image sets will consists of few monsters with same theme.

This is first image of the third set, focusing on soulbound the Warhammer:Age of Sigmar Roleplaying game.

Mayternity Day 11: Dragonloth Egg-Mother

"A great looming figure approaches the stand of a merchant trading in honey, and a powerful voice is heard from above

"I would like to buy some of your goods, they hit the cravings in just the right spot.." said a great draconic creature, smiling and giving the scared trader a huge toothy smile."

Lore, inspiration and Mechanics

Dragonloth is just another of the wide range of draconic creatures descending from the great Dracothion, some bigger, some smaller, some more bestial, some more intelligent, and Dragonloth are in the mixture as well, cross between more bestial and almost mundane beasts and Draconith whom now slowly return to the realms.

They are believed to be ancient species similar to draconith, be it hailing from realm of fire, Aqushi, rather then Ghur, though others claim they are in fact species born out of draconith's mating with other species, off shoot species of their own, and there is a hint to their odd nature, for indeed it's noted they seem to seek out other dragons regardless of size as mates.

Third legend exists as well, that they all come from a dragonic noble from a place outside the realms, brought there by the winds of magic known only to the Seraphon, however, true origin is hard to determine...

There are few of them at this time, however, some wanna make sure that is not true, as few blessed dragonloth's partake in odd magics, rituals, and even weird supersticions and seek out mates to start their own little settlements and build communities...

This seeking would likely be why some band of adventurers might come across the great draconic people, and why they might even come to help them, as while the dragon mother might look slow and not overly dangerous, she is combines ferocity of a den mother with great bulk...

As for the rules, they have their own species, though extremely similar to Draconith's, they lack their inherint magical blood, replacing it with much greater size for comparitable ages.

Their species have following rules:

Draconic Form:
- Your base Armour is 2. If your natural Armour is damaged, it regrows and is repaired after a rest.
- Your enormous wings give you a Fly (Normal) speed.
- Your Teeth, Claws, and Tail are Natural Weapons. They deal 1 + S Damage and have the Piercing, Slashing, and Crushing Traits respectively. When you make an Attack, you can select two of your Natural Weapons to Attack with and count as Dual Wielding (Soulbound, page 148). You cannot be Disarmed.
- As an Action, you can unleash your devastating Draconic Breath. Target one Zone within Medium range. Each creature in the target Zone must make a DN 4:1 Body (Reflexes) Test opposed by your Body (Fortitude). Each Target suffers Damage equal to the difference in successes. If the target achieves more successes than you, they suffer no Damage. Your Draconic Breath either takes the form of blast of hot fire.
- Your size is Large.

Many of the talents available to Draconith are availabe to Dragonloth's, however, they may not have arcane heritige talent.

Talent unique to Dragonloth Egg-Mother

Mother Drake

There is a saying, only thing in the realms worse then mother bear, is mother drake, for the bear will at least not hold a grudge...

When protecting children, their own or someone elses, Dragonloth's increase their attack and defence while in the same zone by one step. If said character is carrying eggs of their own, this bonus is present for the duration of the gestation. If an egg or child is destroyed or killed, they instead enter state of berserk, attacking involved in it for remainder of the combat, losing defence bonus and instead gaining two steps in melee.

Lastly, unique endevour between adventures:

The Great Celebration

Sometimes, the draconic beasts find a reason to gorge themselves and celebrate, and over the course of few months, this leads to them growing to size rival even the largest of troggoths...

Character gorges themselves and rests for a long time in a nice den, resting and enjoying themselves, as they grow larger in size. They take extended 4:35 Fortitude (Body) test, if they pass this test, they grow to size Huge. Progress on this growth is kept between adventures, and each time this endevour is taken, they add up the successes.
