In a darker timeline, even after Nightmare Moon's successful usurping of the throne, there still exists a dim light of hope in the eternal night.

There exists a group of ponies who still remain loyal to Celestia, and though their numbers are small compared to the army Nightmare Moon has amassed, they fight tirelessly to bring light back to Equestria.

The group is led by Fluttershy, once a timid mare afraid of her own shadow, now confronts eternal darkness. And she will do whatever it takes to feel the comfort and safety of the sunlight once again.
