Many people were watching the premiere of Glitch Productions' newest show "GameOverse." Everything seemed fine for most of the viewers of the show, although some began to report issues with the broadcast, many of them complaining about the visuals seeming strange and others that they heard some "meows" and "somewhat" sometimes. The weirdest part? Some reported the characters in the show reacted to these sounds, which weren't present in the trailer that was released a few weeks ago.
The strange situation doesn't stop there, as some of the people who got this anomaly going on their stream couldn't refresh the page, stop the video, turn down the volume, or even close the window or open another window on top of it. Some even say the moment the "meows" began, the show went to full screen.
Reports are similar but not identical after this point. Some say the "meowing" began not long after the episode began, others say it was in the middle, and others say it was near the ending, but they all share characteristics in common. One of them was that a new character appeared out of nowhere and began to chase after the protagonists, and even though the show presents themes of panic and fear, the viewers described the characters' reaction as "genuine" and "too realistic" to be comedic. Some even said it was a genuine reaction of fear that would only be comparable to shock videos from the darkest sides of the web.
The character in question was an orange anthropomorphic character with long red hair, green eyes, and huge yellow semi-detached glows. Despite her adorable and, admittedly, alluring looks, the characters in the cartoon seemed to recognize her and be afraid of her. The tiger character eventually managed to catch them and began to swallow them down like a cartoon from the golden age of the medium. After that, she stared at the viewer and made smug, mean comments towards her lively, digesting prey.
After the visual footage ended with the tiger getting fat and gaining an even bigger rear, she simply gave the middle finger to the viewer, and the PC crashed. The oddest part about this is that, wherever electronically the show was being watched, they stopped working specifically to load the episode they were watching. It is as if it were permanently removed from that specific device but was still watchable on other devices as long as they weren't connected to the same internet signal from the first device. To this day, nobody can explain what this all means or why it happened or if it's even real.
The topic was brought to some online forums where old school gamers just replied along the lines of: "Yeah, she does that all the time, but it's normally on games. I wonder what caused her to do that in a show... Oh well, tough luck, lol!"
The picture above is a recreation of what those unfortunate (or fortunate for those Freaky-Freak-Freds) witnessed.
