wait lets go trans rep

This is genuinely so relatable. I empathize super hard with wishing you were born a girl. Not for the body, but for the social acceptance of your relationship, and to feel normal. Most important of all: the ability to start and raise a family with the person you love more than life itself. There's something unavoidably melancholic knowing that'll never happen. Despite all that, I actually quite like being a boy, and I hope this comic has Fin end up comfortable and happy, just like how my boyfriend has made me comfortable and happy with my own body. It's tempting to wish for a fantasy alternate universe, but being honest with myself, I would not take it if I was given the choice. If I had been born a girl, my life would have been totally different, and I would have never met the sweet, gentle and caring man I'm going to marry.

I never want to see Finn sad again...

They are the Knight knight while the Gardevoir is basically a mage or magic knight considering their roles.
I think that's what really draws me to femboy gallade art. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that there's already male gardevoirs. Idk. Something about a 100% male species that's supposed to represent masculinity (as a knight) being depicted just as soft and loving as their female counterparts just clicks something in the brain. Of course, certain artstyles like Gammaink's or Saltyxodium's definitely had a part to play

Finn may not be trans (Depends on how Gamma wants to do his story) but he is definitely trans coded and I love him for it.

Of course not sure how much that applies within this world, but considering the set up here. We might be in for a doozy.

I can handle a little bit of sadness with this as long as it's resolved in a wholesome manner
I'm not saying he actually goes through with it. I'm just thinking that such an event may be necessary in order for Finn to realize, in that moment of clarity upon being halted in his attempt at self harm, just how much Roy loves him, how he has always loved him, and how Finn has denied himself that unconditional love under the conditional desire to receive it as a woman and not as a feminine man. Finn's dark night of the soul and the bright dawn that follows all rolled into one. Of course, this is all just me thinking up What If's and theory crafting things that may never happen. If Gamma writes a more tamer story, then so be it. I just think that the revelation of this page was a major bombshell of a lore drop considering what we have seen with the one offs staring Finn and Roy. Honestly, this reveal and Mandy's past might have made me too used to the expectation of massive twists and dark turns in these stories. But I guess that's what caught my attention to these comics in the first place. That and Gamma's attention to detail involving his characters.

We already went into some very dark places in the last comic, so it would not surprise me if this one brings up some dark subject matters as well.
I hope it doesn't get that dark. Will Finn stay as a femboy, go trans, or potentially find happiness being himself and not someone who was forced to be someone they didn't want to be.
Trans Finn (in my opinion) is not a likely outcome for this comic. Had he became a Gardevoir then this would have been a non issue. Finn would of transitioned and that would be that. It's the fact that he's a Gallade that's the real issue here. There is no such thing as a female Gallade. He may look mostly the same as a Gardevoir, but that fin he hates so much exposes to everyone what he really is. I have a feeling we may end up getting a rather morbid scene of Roy trying to prevent Finn from mutilating himself with a knife in order to get rid of his head fin. We already went into some very dark places in the last comic, so it would not surprise me if this one brings up some dark subject matters as well. But regardless of what happens, I'm sure that both Roy and Finn will come out of this whole experience better for it. If not completely happy, then at least taking the first steps towards finding that happiness. And most of all, they will find that happiness together.

Unless they're like a pacifist or whatever.
In the games, you can stop most Pokemon from evolving, and in the animes, most Pokemon can also choose not to evolve if they don't want to. Maybe it's the same way here, if Pokemon evolve as a matter of gaining experience (however that works in a world not defined by numbers and code) or just getting older or both: They can choose not to. And if Evolution Stones exist, then Everstones likely exist too. Or, for all we know, medication can be taken to prevent it? *shrug* Your theories are as good as mine.

We could potentially see trans Finn at the end of this comic if things go on any path, hell, most of the time these comics are canon so lets see how this ends up shall we? Will Finn stay as a femboy, go trans, or potentially find happiness being himself and not someone who was forced to be someone they didn't want to be.

There better be some tender hugging/kissing on the next page or I'm going to riot!

So making that choice and feeling like you were pressured into making a choice you didn't want has to be pretty hard, given you're reminded of it every time you look in a mirror. Roy gotta cheer this boy the eff up and show him he's loved the way he is right now. Damn, this is quite the existential conundrum Finn is facing...
"snowfire88771":/users/199178 said: Poor Finn he so wanted to be a girl but is in a boys body that must be hard for him
I did too, turns out I was a girl, just took a while to realize I could do something about it, I鈥檓 eager to see where this goes regarding Finn, is it gay shame, or gender crisis, either way I like it

I just realized that this revelation completely re-contextualizes everything we've seen regarding Finn and Roy. Specifically, the fact that he considers him and Roy just friends (despite their intimate relations with one another), and Finn's constant use of "No Homo" when making love. He's not saying that simply to be cheeky or to playfully taunt Roy. He's saying it in order to convince himself that what they were doing was not, if fact, gay. For Finn to admit he is gay would be to admit that he is male. And to admit he is male would be to admit to himself he isn't what he deeply wishes he was. Female. It's the same reason he can't bring himself to consider him and Roy more than friends. In his eyes they wouldn't be a couple, they would be a GAY couple. A fact that Finn can never accept due to his own self loathing and inability to accept himself as male. And it is because of this fact that he can never bring himself to fully admit his true feelings for Roy. I just have one question after pondering all of this. Did Gamma specifically plan this out for Finn before doing all those one shot art pieces? If so than I have to commend Gamma for their ability to write such amazingly three dimension characters, as well as their ability to lay these subtle breadcrumbs of character building over the course of their work.

I feel bad for Finn man, Gallade is my all time favorite Pok茅mon and seeing him just saying that he hates himself just makes me sad

So Finn straight up wanted to be Fiona. No wonder he's upset. Even if he went through the equivalent of transitional therapy, the fact that he's a Gallade would make that point moot. I'm guessing the comic is going to be about Roy trying to help Finn accept who he is and prove to him he loves him for the soul within, and not just the shell without.

Poor Finn he so wanted to be a girl but is in a boys body that must be hard for him

well, look at what we got here, a M/M comic I'll admit, though we already had illustrations with Roy and Finn, I didn't actually expect a comic dedicated to them, even if it seemed likely given we also had a comic for Jayden Ethan but now, with this not at all pleasant surprise (wink wink :V), I'll be paying special attention to it we barely just started so I'll withhold any comments about the story proper for now, but we'll see
