JC got themselves caught in the woods by a much larger predator that had a different need to satiate. Being so much smaller, the vulnerable fennec couldn't really put up much resistance. Heck, his legs don't even reach the ground - not that he'll be able to use them properly for a while anyway. Wonder what a fennec shox looks like? They'll find out soon enough.
