Well I'm eating my own words I said a few pages ago. And I will also eat my shoes alongside.
Scylla would have to give up her obsession with humans and look like a total fraud with what she just said about Alphas if she wanted to fit in with them. This would also mean her home doesn't get raided and ruined, but that's about the only good part of the deal. Is she about to kiss Coalt goodbye as she's pushing him in? What would also become of Allie and Kharl? Most importantly, what about Coalt's pants? Don't they get a say in things? Clessie's deal is about as pretty as a golden turd. I wouldn't take it even if I had a scat fetish.
Clessie says she can help her reputation but what if it was known that Scylla went back on a deal even after receiving advanced payment. Then wouldn’t her reputation be dragged down in a different way.
For being an alpha, Skyla sure took that threat lying down.
