On day 8 of mayternity, we got...something both old and quite weird.

Yesterday cursed folk, and their terrible queens were mentioned, and today we see...the remains of one's armour, as their workers gained minds and left their empire, the art of crafting of iron was lost, leaving the queens on their own, eventually...likely going extinct or missing...But, their marks still remain, as in some of the deep forests, the last fighters of their falling empire had hid away, eventually vanishing as well, with only remains of their iron armour left to be overgrown, by a fungi most peculiar...

To the cursed folk iron is considered cursed, they fear if they handle it they will lose their minds and become workers of the queens once more...even if none remain it seems...thus their cities treasures are left for others to go and gather.

However, this armour shows something else, as it leans against a peculiar tree - one of the trees those who speak with spirits would consider sacred, and this one seem to have been visited, as seen by carvings and offerings left on it, as the tree takes on the shape considered...most sacred and divine...

Though, among some folk, it's feared that the tree in truth holds the spirit of the cursed folk's queen...and one day might start to move....
