I mean, Idk why he seems surprised by them spying on him. They seemingly knew wherever he was the entire time, always found out where he was even though they shouldn't have fully known. They also seemed to know a lot of what he liked and didn't like. So I mean, the writing was on the wall for a lot of this. Something also tells me they may have found out a lot of stuff by "interrogating" those they had sex with that were usually with Kindle or knew him.
