I kinda feel bad for her but in the same way I also feel that them being a couple would be too cliche and she acted a bit stalkerish during the Adventure era (and early Boost).
I don't mind the joke about her confusing Shadow, Silver and the Werehog with Sonic but it may seems like she's into anything that looks like a hedgehog.

Eh, Sonic's a flirt, even in the games (Caliburn hat to hit him with the squirt bottle twice in BK for example). Amy's problem was that she just came on too strong.
She's getting better about that. She might end up with better results.
