Story Bio: Diana was born into a life of fear and confusion while she was a colt, her mother always getting yelled at, and hurt. Later on when she got older living a life away from her father, she assumed he'd get better, but when visiting she experienced first hoof that someponies change for the worse. For awhile she was unsure why her mind felt conflicted of her body, but she hated whenever she was forced to cut her mane all the way. She discovered her feelings of wanting to be a Mare when word spread about potential Changeling spies and, their ability to change into anypony. When she got to The Hive as a young mare, she nervous and obsessively asked to be turned into one, Thorax refused cautious that only Chrysalis knew how, which only peaked her interest. She began to research in finding out to turn, the first thing she'd do, free her. When I got what I asked for I felt repulsive, disguising myself I chose to take form as a drawn depiction of when I was born, with some minor changes.

"It was a design choice more than anything. We wanted a quick visual way to sell that they were no longer beholden to their previous hive-mind ways. Hence the brighter colours and different body shapes and configurations. Helps to denote “individuality” in a visual way." And I asked myself, what if they didn't fully reform?
