After Hack and Chick spy on Malt kissing Sheena (and with [i]tongue[/i], gross!) both of the corgi twins are left blushy and confused. Although arguably it's more confusing for poor Hack, who's pretty sure he's not supposed to be jealous of someone else smooching another boy (or anyone for that matter because kissing is definitely still gross!).

After hiding (and sulking) for several days, Hack finds himself on laundry duty with the older caninu boy. Because Hack is terrible at hiding anything, Malt quickly realizes something's going on with the younger corgi boy, which is made more awkward by his guilty attraction to the cute younger boy.

Although he didn't mean to, Malt ends up trying to prove that kissing is the opposite of gross, even if it's with another boy, things start to heat up, particularly when Malt lets Hack wear his neckerchief in place of his cape. Hack has spied on Britz and Jin enough to know what boys can do together, but the young corgi caninu is a little embarrassed about the handsome, older Malt seeing him in just his fur. Not only is he pretty skinny and short, but a stint in an orphanage on the wrong side of the front lines left him with a "Berman helmet" like Britz rather than a "Gasco hoodie" like the rest of the boys on the tank, and what if Malt says something about it?

However, after some more, and progressively sloppier smooching, the now riled up Malt convinces Hack to ditch his shorts and undies, and while he's a little surprised Hack's cut, it hardly bothers him as things start to get handsy.
