Crime. To many of the people living in this city, it was just another part of life. You paid your taxes, you tipped your waiter, and you looked the other way when someone was getting roughed up. Detective Renamon didn’t see it that way though. She couldn’t stand by and turn away. Injustice pricked at her like an itch she had to scratch.

Tonight’s mystery? Missing digimon. All of them rookies or below, all of them disappearing without a trace. Leads? None that those corrupt pigs in the police department would care to share with a lowly PI like her. Bastards. Renamon stood at her window sipping her third cup of joe. She was just wearing her panties; the night was too hot for anything more than that. The gentle rumble of thunder lured the fox’s attention skyward, a promise of a fresh downpour. Renamon opened the window and felt the subtle change in pressure. The stifling summer night broke its tension as the rain began to fall, cool and steadily increasing in its intensity. She held out a paw to greet the cool water like an old friend come to visit and enjoyed the change in temperature.[/section]
