Saiful’s forest is sparsely littered with these constructs, called “Forest Wardens,” which keep the forest clear of unwanted guests. They feed on them, using them as a food source, tearing off their arms and legs so they can no longer resist. The toxin in their vines floods their bodies, keeping them hydrated. Despite being constructs, after being awakened for so long, they each appear to have some sort of personality, most likely due to feeding on the souls of those they captured. Some lull their prey into a dreamlike sleep where they feel nothing but bliss; others pump venom that feels akin to glass to cause as much suffering as possible.
