Anukaya's outer coast is second only to downtown as the most well-traveled destination in the city. This seaside village is a focal point of a robust fishing industry, with many of the prime, fresh-caught catches of the day brought first to the high-end establishments run by the nobility who take advantage of the beauty and shelter of the outlying areas away from the bustle of the prime districts. Open beaches with clear waters welcome anyone who has time to enjoy them, whether to dip their toes or watch the boats sail to and from the city and off to lands across the ocean. The seaside towns have also developed something of a culture of their own, and occasionally host festivals of food, drink and dance exclusive to the whims of the communities that abide there. The most striking feature on the main course of the outlying stretch is the Lighthouse at Anra, a towering beacon lit at all times and one of the tallest structures in the city. It guides travelers at night into safe harbors from the sea and guides outgoing ships from the Kayanil river off to their destinations, remaining behind as the last fixture on the horizon as they depart.

Amanra doesn't get to go out this way too often, except maybe when Malazi, owner of the Harrier's Inn, does business with clients out on the coast - but she does love the beach and she’d love to see you there!
