An idea I've had for a while that I didn't quite get down properly because I suck at backgrounds.
It's a classic trait of snakes to be able to hypnotize hapless victims and my three-eyed snakes (which I think I'll call Nag'ji from here on) are capable of something similar.
Here's one channeling hypnosis on a deer via their third eye (a magical organ) while hunting. Unlike what people would believe the ability to work, this version forces eye-contact and normal animals often lack the willpower (or discipline) to breaking contact, thus leaving them literally like a deer in headlights.
It's myth that a Nag'ji can command someone to do things under it's effect.
