*Terror, and sorrow, flooded the Viscount's expression as he beheld his eldest daughter, lying dead nearby as some...* **monster** *had impaled his youngest with a mantid-like limb. He fell to his haunches, too late to save his foals, as the youngest reached up to the creature that loomed over him. In abandoning the desire to save himself, however, he'd not been expecting his child to gurgle something towards the creature with his last breath.*

**"Mommy... why?"**

*The monster hesitated, as the light left the colt's eyes. Slowly, the creature turned towards the Viscount, who gawped and pressed his back against the wall, disbelieving of what he had heard. The thing, this... abomination, impaled the end of its other forelimb in the wall next to him, mere inches from his stomach, before it regarded him with wide... and distressingly familiar eyes.*

**"B-Bounty...?"** *Dark Thunder asked, as recognition filled the creature's eyes, which he belatedly realized were crying. Slowly, she inched her changed mouth towards him, as if to prepare for a kiss. It widened into a flower-like shape, far too wide for such a simple gesture, and lined with razor-sharp teeth...*

*He didn't even have a chance to scream.*

The third and final part of the chaos of the scythe-themed art pieces. This one was something of a doozy, but hey, least it's finished for the time being. Unless, of course, Kiernan and I get to writing the story to go with this.
