Aidan began as my fursona during the early to mid-2010s but fell to the wayside following a rough period in my life.

When Guardians 3 came out, I began retooling him into a full fledged OC inspired by Rocket Raccoon because I just loved the character so much. Originally, I had intended to have a similar origin story that also paid homage to Secret of NIMH. But... I had trouble bringing myself to write such a dark story (as much as I love engrossing myself in it) and decided to subvert it in favour of something lighter and fun by giving him an enormous scientific factuality inspired by Dexter's Lab and Portal.

Now he just needs a companion and friendly rival.
