The stairs at the back of Café Naraka is off limits to most visitors except for Jack, who rents out the apartment above the bar. Having been in a dingy Abyssal Order cell, then homeless for most of his young adulthood, Jack never acquired a taste for creature comforts, and as such his apartment is sparsely furnished apart from what was already included. Everything meets his basic needs, and anything more than that would be an unwanted distraction from his goal of revenge.
