Our kitty Grayson got out early in the morning May 26. We didn't realize a window wasn't latched, and he managed to wriggle a Gray-width opening to squeeze through. Because German windows almost never have screens, ours don't have them either (we've since gotten some to affix from the discount store, but they just stick on and wouldn't keep our kitties from pressing their way out). So he got interested in something and slipped out a second story window.

We're still looking for Gray. We got more fliers printed this afternoon that we'll be posting tonight. Chaos, I want my cat back.

I wanted to do some more color experiments, and was looking for pose refs. I ran into this on AdorkaStock and decided to go with it, cuz hey, kitty.

Despite the sad mood, I still wanted to play with saturated colors. I used blacks for inks and shadows, then painted under the shadows with some vibrant purple, and added pink and orange rim lighting.
