I liked this one a lot more than the last one I think. Legitimately a really fun watch, so I'm happy for that to be the case. The balance between comedy bits, horny happenings and interesting developments was pretty good on this one. The usage of the cast was also just better balanced. Good decision not to actually do anything with the B plot until the second half of the video. It's a lot more focused on what it wants to do and that makes it worlds more enjoyable. I like that Starlight felt like she was simultaneously defaulting to her abusive tendencies but also trying to be a bit more like, reasonable in her relationship. Also nice to actually know what her deal with Twilight is. Does a good job of explaining her fart strength/kink too, which is. A silly thing to have to type, but hey, real recognizes real. Skywishes being here makes the whole reincarnation thing feels kind of like a wasted plot point now. The vampirism and lycanthropy thing make for a potential new status quo change but based on how the pegacorn thing and the dragon power thing kind of just get swept under the rug in most scenarios, I find myself not really feeling like it's going to mean anything for anyone besides maybe Mary. Admittedly, I kind of hope that it *doesn't* stick for Mary though, but if the credit panel with her and Starlight are actually hinting towards something, it could still be fun. I don't really like Mary's wolf-pony design all that much, her scarred face and half-mane are striking (even if they're probably relative difficult to render) and so far the fuzzy-dog-face doesn't really do anything interesting like that for me. I don't know if I'm in love with the implied relationship status quo reset presented by the end-credits scene either but again, who knows. Things could go anywhere, maybe Starlight mellows out immediately afterwards, maybe she goes all out and does something legitimately catastrophic for their relationship. I'm interested in seeing what happens there, I'm kind of just hoping that these two's writing doesn't just devolve to Apple-Package level back-and-forths, I can't really say I'm fond of how those two are written. I'm a whiny bitch-mare. All that aside, good episode.
