Saoirse has a pet seal. And she looks a lot like a seal herself, thanks to her grey, spotted fur.

The seal is treated very well and is quite spoiled. It even has a small floating crown just to show it's special.

Most ferals in this setting are plain animals, without humanlike minds. There are some exceptions, like unicorns, but seals are just seals.
