Some WIP sketches of the next character that's being redesigned in my series of redrawing old characters. Taking an old dragon I made for a high school chemistry assignment named Bromos and modernizing him. I don't have any of my original high school drawings of Bromos, so I'm basically redrawing him from scratch. If my memory serves me right, the original Bromos was more like a noodle dragon (I drew his body to coil up to form the letters Br, the abbreviation for the element Bromos represented, bromine). Here, I drew him more anthro standing upright. As a joke, I also drew him in DragonTales style! I wasn't completely satisfied with my first sketch, so I made a second one where Bromos looks a little more fierce. I still wasn't happy with it because to me, Bromos just looked like a dinosaur with wings rather than an anthro dragon. Bromos didn't look right to me having fins or horns, so I decided to try adding hair on his head. I did two little head sketches and I liked the second one I did, where he had emo looking hair and droopy ears, which I thought looked interesting. I then retroactively added the droopy ears to the DragonTales sketch, lol. However I left the other sketches of Bromos alone.
